About Rocket Space Ship
Two important things
First, this is a first attempt to plunge feet first into making a comic. On the web. In other words, I have never done a comic before. Except a couple of things in high school, but they have been thankfully forgotten.
I thought a lot about what I was gonna do with this story that was swimming in my brain for a couple of years. Then I decided to stop worrying, stop trying to plan stuff, stop trying to rub out all the bugs before they even appeared. How it is right now, I heave a pretty rough idea of where I’m going with this, the general direction. But the details? I guess I’ll worry over them when I get to them. I just started with Page 1, and I guess we’ll see how far this adventure takes me, and you, dear reader. This is actually so new, I haven’t even thought about the names of the main characters yet.
Second, this comic is released to the world on the basis of a Creative Commons Attribution - Share Alike License.
That means that you are free to use the characters and the storylines as your own creative starting point. You can “remix” Rocket Space Ship. Yeah. You can redraw the characters and NOT GET SUED. You can write your own comic about whatever happens when I’m not drawing it. You can turn Rocket Space Ship into a feature movie. You can slap those characters on a kids backpack. You can make it better. As long as you keep the attribution credits and that the work you create retains the same license conditions. Of course you can get more details if you click that link. Which you already have. Once again, I have absolutely no idea or expectiations as to where this directions takes us, but as I said before, we’ll find out when we get, uh, wherever we’re going.
So have a nice trip, I know the view from here, at least, is very interesting.
